I just bought some refurbished 2tb seagate drives. Essentially just the OS partition which you can then use to rebuild the rest of the raid stripe on. Do I need to do anything before the start of the restore using the usb prepared according to your instructions? We have tried to restore your images to a new replica of failed drive. But the led of the usb key only flashes twice then it died. I checked in ubuntu after the restore and it just restored into my one large partition.
